Tenant Information

If you are a tenant who has received legal correspondence from Alterra, the property you rent is likely the subject of a collection action to recover delinquent assessments owed to your property’s condominium association or HOA (“Association”).

Legal action may be taken against the property and/or personally against the property’s owner if the delinquent account is not brought current. Such action may include the recording of an assessment lien against the property and the subsequent foreclosure of that lien by the Association pursuant to its authority under the Association’s governing documents and California law.

This is a serious matter. You should immediately contact the property’s owner and/or landlord.

Please note that neither Alterra, the Association nor its Management are permitted to speak with tenants of properties subject to collection actions. Again, you should immediately contact the property’s owner and/or landlord.
